The Royal Rumble season has officially kicked off, which means every week we're seeing some big names announcing their entries for the Royal Rumble match. But this week's SmackDown is going to be something special because we're going to witness a championship match and some returns as well. There's a lot more in store, and in today's video, I'm going to talk about what we can expect from this Friday Night SmackDown.
The first thing WWE confirmed in this episode is Solo Sikoa's return. As you all know, ever since Solo lost his title to Roman Reigns, we haven't seen him in WWE. But finally, he's making his comeback this week on SmackDown, and everyone will be keeping an eye on him to see what happens next. Last week on SmackDown, we also saw Jay and Tama Tonga, who came in and caused Allen to lose his championship match.
At the event, it looked like they were going to win against Cody Rhodes and Jimmy Uso, so the chances of Solo Sikoa going back to being Ula Palau are pretty slim. He might just stay a heel and could show up to announce his entry for the Men's Royal Rumble match. But if Solo Sikoa is part of WWE's plan for a face turn, we might see some of his own Bloodline members betray him. Just like how Solo reacted after Roman Reigns lost the title, it seems like he might react similarly now.
We're about to see Jacob Fatt, so let's find out if Solo Sikoa's character changes or if he stays the same with a heel and Roman Reigns. I'll fill you in on what could happen next in just a bit. Now, the next match that WWE has officially announced is for the Women's Championship between Tiffany Stratton and Bayley. Last week, Bayley earned this opportunity by winning a Fatal Four-Way match, and now she's got the chance to go against Tiffany Stratton for the title.
We’re about to see something exciting, and you all know the chances are pretty high that either this match will be a disqualification or Tiffany Stratton is going to beat Bayley and retain her championship. And yeah, so far we haven’t heard anything about the women’s Royal Rumble match, so it’s possible we’ll see a bunch of women superstars announce their entries for the Royal Rumble during this week’s SmackDown. Next up, the match that WWE has officially announced is Motor City Machine Guns vs. Los Lotharios. So, just like the tag...
The team championship scene is a whole mess right now, with everyone fighting each other because everyone wants a shot at the championship. It looks like MC MG is likely to come out on top here. Meanwhile, we've got a ladder match for the undisputed championship between D Rhodes and Kevin Owens set for the Royal Rumble premium live event. Last week on SmackDown, we witnessed an intense brawl between them, which led to Cody Rhodes losing his tag team championship match.
When a rivalry gets really personal, you can bet that if these two face off on this week's SmackDown, we’re going to see a brawl. And speaking of Roman Reigns, he’s made a big comeback, winning that match and announcing his entry into the Men's Royal Rumble. So, obviously, his next move is to enter the Royal Rumble, but everyone’s wondering what’s next for him because he’s aiming for the Undisputed Championship.
They want to, but there are obstacles in their way. They could have a match with Rock or even CM Punk. And guys, on RAW, we caught a glimpse of something no one wants to see—the breakup of the OG Bloodline. We did get to see the OG Bloodline reunite, but we haven't really seen all four of them together yet. So, is it possible that they'll split up before that happens? On RAW, we see Sami Zayn and Seth Rollins face off against each other.
Backstage, Sami Zayn starts off by saying, "I know you lost last week, and I get that it's been tough for you. If you want to talk about it, I'm here for you." Then Seth Rollins jumps in and says, "Well, last week was pretty good for you, right? Your boy Roman Reigns is back in the game, and you helped him out big time in WarGames. So now, what are you planning? Are you going to help him win the Royal Rumble and then assist Cody Rhodes in getting the title?"
Seth Rollins talks to Sami Zayn about taking action, and you can see Sami's mixed reactions. It’s clear that Seth is trying to provoke Sami, and we see him leaving Roman Reigns again. So, will this actually happen? If we get to see a feud between Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns, then we might see something interesting. Otherwise, the speculation around Sami Zayn's future is leaning towards a match with Kevin Owens.
We're gonna see something at WrestleMania 41 that’s making Kevin Owens start to get involved with the Bloodline again. He even mentioned Sami Zayn, who went back to Roman Reigns, and Kevin's definitely looking to settle that score. So, Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins, and Drew McIntyre are three superstars who have a serious rivalry with Roman Reigns, and they want no one backing him up. Plus, there’s a good chance Roman won’t even show up on SmackDown this week because WWE...
They're not advertising it, but in just a few weeks, we'll be seeing it regularly. By the time WrestleMania 41 rolls around, you can expect to see Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, and Drew McIntyre face off against Roman Reigns, and the big question will be whether The Bloodline will support him or not. But hey, I want you all to comment and let me know what you think: if Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns go head-to-head, who do you think Sami Zayn will side with?
